Holly Springs is one of the few cemeteries in the Harrisburg area that has not been inventoried. It is a large old cemetery containing 9 acres.
According to the files of the Modern News , on Aug. 2, 1929, R.S. Beloate was in charge of the Cemetery Association.
On August 26, 1939 Mrs. Edna Hill, a widow, for $10.00, deeded 1 acre to J.S. Beloate, R.G. Burrow, Mrs. Mae Burrow and Mrs. Sallie Cook, trustees of the Holly Springs Cemetery Association. The land was to be used for the building of a church for any denomination.

DIRECTIONS. Go east on Highway 14 to Highway 163 north. Go north 2.6 miles and turn west on Holly Springs Road at the Holly Springs Cemetery sign. The church and cemetery are about 1/4 mile ahead with the Church on the left and cemetery on both sides of the road.
