Thomas Bennett and Martha Rollins Bennett married in Georgia and moved to Russell County, Ala about 1838, then to Calhoun County about 1851, then came to Arkansas in 1867 settling south of Jonesboro.
They had eleven children who married and lived in Craighead and Poinsett County. There are many descendants still living in the same area, such as the Griffins, McDaniels, Bennetts, etc.
Except for the children of Martha Bennett Cary, there is a lot of incomplete data. Hopefully anyone with corrections or additions will contact this site.
