NOTE: The Island #10 that is referred to was a fortified island in the Mississippi River near New Madrid, MO and was a  critical part of the defense of the river.

McKAY, J.R. Major  - Appointed 9Nov1861.

ROSS, J.A. Maj.  - Enl 12 Oct 1861 at Little Rock, AR. Appointed adjutant 10 Nov 1862(?). Captured 15 Dec 1864 at Nashville, TN  and sent to MP at Johnson's Island, OH 20 Dec 1864. Released 4 Jun 1865. Ht 6', eyes blue, hair lt, complx lt, residence: Arkadelphia, AR.

STOVALL, WILLIAM L. Hospital Steward.  - Enl 10 Oct 1861 at Little Rock, AR. Aptd Hospital Steward 1 Aug 1862. Issued clothing 30 Sep 1864.

TERRY, FRANCIS A. Lt Col.  - Appointed 9 Nov 1861. Resigned 31 Mar 1862.
