Amos THOMPSON and Ludie Glenora Irvin THOMPSON.
At one time, he was a lumberjack. the family lived at various
times in Turrell, Trumann, and perhaps Marked Tree area in the

Ludie died in 1918 during the flu epidemic; her newborn
child also died at the time. their children were Millie May,
Barney, John, Edgar, Anna Lou and Pearl. after their mother's
death, the children were "farmed out" to various households
as servants, etc. while their father was away for long
periods as he was then working in the oil fields in central
AR. after 1922, he was never heard from again. I would
LOVE to find out more about this part of my family; any

Comments: BURDELOW family: I saw today the mention
of Sadie BURDELOW on the page
http://www.bscn.com/harryv/fumethc.htm of the First United
Methodist cemetery. Burdelow is probably the married
name of Sadie, but I don't know her maiden name. She is
said to have been born in 1878 and died in 1957 in Poinsett
county. I suspect she is related to the
BURDELOW/BORDELEAU families of Knox county,
Indiana, who are distant cousins of mine. Is there anything
more known on this Sadie Burdelow that would help me
establish if she is part of our family tree? If this sounds
familiar, I would love to hear from you. I shall look forward
