Trying to find the surname of the wife of Hugh Britt. She was born in S.C. according to the 1850 census of Gwinnett. Hugh and Mary are on the 1790 census of Orangeburgh District, S.C. and the 1800 census of Edgefield County, S.C. In what county were they born and where did they marry? Any estate settlements or wills of South Carolina counties that might mention "daughter Mary, wife of Hugh Britt" would solve my problem.
