You list my son as one of the researchers, so perhaps he has already told you about the WEBB FAMILY reunion this weekend. I'm sorry that I
didn't try to contact you sooner. We are descendants of Monroe Allen Webb. I can bring you up to date later on births and deaths. Here is
the info. on the reunion.
It is being held at Pickwick Landing State Resort Part Inn in Pickwick, TN. The reunion is Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Most activities will be
held on Saturday. The resort is located on State Routes 57 and 128 in Hardin County TN, 13 miles North of Corinth, MS, near Shiloh Military
Park, site of two bloody days of Civil War battles.
The phone number for the Resort is 1-800-250-8615. There is also a Hampton Inn nearby. Call 1-800-HAMPTON.

This webb family is from Susan Neuman file and has Craighead Co . and Greene Co. Connections.
James Webb born in NC fought in War of 1812 with Jackson at the battle of New Orleans. Prior to the Civil War in 1855 James moved his family to Paragould, GreeneCo, AR. After the close of the war, he returned to HardemanCo, TN and their died of typhoid pneumonia.
Andrew Webb, who remained behind, became the first postmaster of Bethel in 1883. Tilman A. Webb married shortly after arriving in AR and then in 1862 enlisted in the Confederate army, 1st Battalion Arkansas Infantry and died one month later in Verona, MS.
Much about the Webb family is known beginning with James and wife Monima. The parents and siblings of James, however, have alluded the family researchers. But, the brick wall is coming down, a brick at a time.
