James Doyle applied for bounty land for his services in the War of 1812 on Aug 21 1851 at Salisbury, North Caroloina. He died there three days later. Sarah Raper Doyle returned to Tennessee. Ten Months later, She filed for, and was granted, bounty land in the Southwestern district of Lawrence Co. Arkansas.
