Home Guard Roster
Union County Arkansas
Below is an exact transcription of the rosters
of the home guard of each township in Union County Arkansas. This material
was recorded in Union County Arkansas County Court Record Book E, pages
632 – 643, recorded between 8 July 1861 and 23 Oct 1861. The book is currently
located in the county courthouse in El Dorado. I have transcribed the names
exactly as they are recorded in the original book, and the headings below
are written just as the original headings were recorded. The page numbers
in parenthesis indicate the page in County Court Record Book E on which
the particular township roster was recorded.

? The surname recorded as “Mclendon” should probably
be “McClendon”]
