1ST OSAGE BATTALION
   CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA

This battalion was organized in the spring of 1863 with four companies and was assigned to Gen. D.H. Cooper's and Watie's Brigades in the Trans-Mississippi Department. It participated in various conflicts in the Indian Territories and was surrendered in Jun1865. Major Broke Arm was in command.

Roll #88 (M258) There are no rolls for the unit. The following men were found on a list of officers in R.W. Lee's Command on Northwest Frontier of Indian Territory.
