1899 Reunion of Confederate Soldiers
Greene County, Arkansas

Veterans of the Confederate Army living in Greene County in December of 1899 had their photographs taken for this photo-montage. The veterans were members of Co, C. DeVeer Battalion-Kitchen Division, which participated in Price's Raid through Missouri, Kansas and Indian Territory.

They were returning home from Fort Smith, according to the information on the original. Because the names and the order in which they were listed vary between sources, we cannot be sure of their accuracy. [Names are listed after the picture.]
