NOTE: The 6th and 7th AR Inf Regts were combined 22Dec1862. The rolls of each company were, however, continued as though no consolidation had ever been made.
Co A and F were consolidated in May or Jun1862.

Co B (Yellow Jackets) was disbanded when the regiment was mustered into confederateservice 26 Jul 1861. It was in state service 5 May 1861- 26 Jul 1861. The regiment was formed 5 Jun 1861. Fourteen men from Co B were reassigned to Co H.

Co B and E were consolidated 22 Dec 1862 and were known as Co D, 6th & 7th Inf Regt.

Co C and G were consolidated 22 Dec 1862 and were known as Co E, 6th & 7th Inf Regt

Co D was merged into Co H 20Jun1862.

Archer’s Co D was composed of men from the 12th AR Inf  who were returned to their unit after it was exchanged in the latter part of 1862.
The decimated regiment was consolidated  remains of the 1st, 2d, 5th, 7th 8th, 13th, 15th 19th (Dawson’s) and the 24th Inf  Regiments and the 3rd  Confederate Inf Regt Consolidated  at Smithfield, NC on 9 Apr 1865 and became the 1st Consolidated AR Inf Regt.

CAMERON, FEASTER J. LtC
Enl 3 Jun 1861 at Little Rock, AR. Promoted to Major 18 Jan 1862. Wounded and captured 31 Dec 1862 at Murfreesboro, TN and sent to Baltimore, MD 7  Feb 1864 from Johnson’s Island, OH then to Ft Delaware, DE. Exchanged 17  Mar  1864. Wounded 22 Jul 1864 and sent to hospital at Macon, GA 29 Jul 1864.

CATES, R.P. Hospital Steward.
Enl 3 Jun 1861 at Little Rock, AR. Detailed as regtl druggist. Was hospital steward 8 May 1862. Paroled in 1865 at Greensboro, NC. Signed as  F.P. Cates.

DOUGLASS, WILLIAM F. Major
Enl 26 Jul 1861 at Pocahontas, AR. Elected major 10 May 1862. On staff muster roll of Dawson's 19th AR Inf 29 Feb 1864. Captured 15 Jan 1865 in Arkansas Co, AR. Released on oath 30 May 1865.

EDWARDS, WILLIAM Musician
Enl 30 May 1861 at Little Rock, AR in the Ouachita Voltiquers. Appointed 12 Apr 1862. Transferred to regimental band, Aug 1862. Wounded severely in the jaw 31 Dec 1862 at Murfreesboro, TN and was captured and sent to City Point, VA 27 Mar 1863. Paroled after 26 Apr 1865 at Greensboro, NC as a member of the 1st Consol AR Inf.
