Assistant Surgeon—Appointed assistant surgeon, 3rd Arkansas Infantry, March 3, 1863; paroled at Appomattox, Virginia, April 12, 1865; took oath of allegiance at Richmond, Virginia, May 29, 1865; graduated from Georgetown University Medical School in 1862; after the war he was a professor of physiology at Georgetown University Medical School.

Sergeant-Major—Enlisted in Co. B, 3rd Arkansas Infantry, at Berlin, Arkansas, June 9, 1861; appointed sergeant-major, August 24, 1861; hospitalized at Richmond, Virginia, September 1, 1862; absent without leave from hospital, December 5, 1862; born c1832.
