3RD ARKANSAS CAVALRY REGIMENT
CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA

This company was transferred to the 3rd Arkansas Cavalry from the 2nd Arkansas Cavalry on January 1, 1863.  It was formed through the consolidation of the “Border Rangers” of White County and the “Crittenden Rangers” of Crittenden County.
