  21st (McCARVER'S)  ARKANSAS INFANTRY REGIMENT

The regiment was formed about May 15, 1862 by consolidating four companies of the 14th (McCarver's) and six companies of the 17th (Lemoynes') Co F of the 14th became Co B of the 21st.
