17TH(LEMOYNE'S ) ARKANSAS INFANTRY REGIMENT
CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA

This regiment consisted of eight companies which were consolidated into six companies and joined with four companies of of the 14th (McCarver's) to form the 21st Regt about 15 May 1862.

Co F - Yell County - 28 Dec 1861 in Yell County - to Co E 21 Ark Inf
Co G - Yell County - 15 Feb 1862 in Yell County - to Co E 21 Ark Inf
Co H - Prairie County - 15 Feb 1862 at Des Arc - to Co G 21 Ark Inf
