Formed about Dec 1862 or Jan 1863 by the consolidation of remnants of the 11th  and 17th (Griffiths) Regts AR Inf. Mounted in the spring of 1863 by order  of Maj Gen Gardner and subsequently served east of the Mississippi River as cavalry until the close of the war.

JETT, B.  P. Jr. Major - Paroled 14 May 1865 at Jackson, MS.

ORTON, G. W. 1Lt & Adj  - Enl 20 Apr 1862 at Little Rock, AR. Captured 28 Mar 1864 near Natchez, MS and sent to MP at Johnson's Island, OH. Age 23. Released on oath 14 Jun 1865.

VAUGHT, W.W. Capt & AQM - Paroled 13 May 1865 at Jackson, MS.
