Looking for two descendants of James A. Robinett or their heirs. There were four children in all but two disappeared early in life. Looking for Grover and Ollie E. Robinett last seen in Bird Twp, Jackson Co., AR. Ollie was born Oct. 1890 in Jackson Co., AR and was adopted between 1898 and 1899. Ollie's father James died in 1895 and she was given to a brother in law to take care of. The brother in law was George W. Brooks who was married to her older sister Noranne B. Brooks. Someone came to court in Jackson Co. and stated that Ollie was not being well cared for so the courts put her with a family that later adopted her out. Grover Robinett was last seen on the 1900 census records of Jackson Co., AR, as a 17 yr old boy living with his sister, Noranne B. Brooks and his husband, George W. Brooks. On Jan 11, 1901 George W. Brooks was hanged in Oklahoma and the courts of AR stated that the children he was guardian over were no long living in the state of AR and they no longer had any authority over the children. The courts did not state where the children were living. The older sisters of Ollie and Grover went to Wewoka, Seminole Co., OK. I can find no location for Ollie and Grover. Someone out there must be a descendant of these two people.

Seeking any and all information about one PHILIP RANDOLPH USSERY. Philip (PR) migrated to the Newport area in or around 1884 from Walker County, Alabama (near Carbon Hill). PR's wife was one Nancy Jane Guice/Guise/Guyse. PR's mother is Elizabeth ________ Ussery, found in the Alabama Federal census, 1850, family 375-375. It is believed that PR had uncles Philip, George and Morgan though these men might be cousins, etc. Key surnames are MORGAN, RANDOLPH, LEONARD. It is family folklore that these Usserys are descendants of one John USSERY from TN, though to date no direct TN link established (apart from PR stating in the 1850 census that he was born in TN). Any and all information would be appreciated....
