Know all men by these presents that I, Stephen M. White, the County of  Baxter, state of Arkansas being now confined in house with a serious illness  but being never the less in the full possession of all my mental faculties, do make and publish this my last will and testament 1st  I direct that my executors herein after named shall of my estate pay my burial expenses and all my just debts.

2nd  I give and desire all my estate both real and personal to my beloved  wife, Roxanna G. White for the purpose of maintaining herself and rearing my  children.  So long as she shall remain unmarried and my widow and in her  decease the remainder there of I give and devise to my children and their heirs to be divided in equal shares between them, and in the event of her  marriage I give and devise the remainder of said estate to my said wife and my children to be divided in equal shares between them.

3rd  I direct and desire that my executors herein after named shall have full  power and authority to sell and convey any or all of my real estate at  private sale and to make titles to the same conveying my rights to the  purchaser thereof and that the price and terms of said sale shall be left to  their discretion and that they also have the same power and authority to  invest the proceeds of such sale in other lands as such places and prices as they in their discretion may see fit said ------  to decend as above directed.

4th  I ordain and appoint Edmond D. Hays, Esq., of Fulton County, Arkansas and my wife, Roxanna G. White, Executor and Exce -- of this will.

In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal and publish and declare this to be my last will and testament in the presence of the  witnesses named below this the - day of 1873.
