Wilfull wrong doer was attached to John Infinger a plea therefore with free & arms & so forth he entered into a certain plantation or tract of land containing, six hundred acres situate lying and being as was formerly supposed in the county of Anson in the province now state of North Carolina but found when running the division line between the two states of North & South Carolina to be in Ninety Six District in the State of South Carolina Beginning at a Cedar tree on the North branch of Enree River at the upper end of Fort Shoal about four or five miles below Bartlett Brown's land originally located in the State of North Carolina aforesaid to and thence examined & having such shape and form and marks as appears by a Platt thereof & the original grant thereof annexed; which the said Bartlet Brown demised to the said Joh infinger for a Farm which is not yet up paid by him the said John  Infinger from the same did just and other wrongs to him did to the just damage of the said John Infinger & against the peace of the State aforesaid & so forth Ang thereupon the said John Infinger by John Colcock his attorney complains that the said Bartlett Brown on the first day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy Eight at Ninety six in the District of ninety six and whthin the Jurisdiction of this court administers to the aforesaid John Infinger the said Plantation or tract of land with the appertenances To have and to hold the same to the said John Infinger & his assign from the said first day of January in the year aforesaid unto the end and term of Five years next ensueing and faulty to be conflict and ended yielding of paying therefore unto the said Bartlett Brown the sum of Ten shillings lawful money of the said note yearly and every year during the said term by writ of which demise the said John Infinger intend into the said tract of land with the appertenances and was possesed thereof and the said John Infinger beng so possessed thereof the said wilfull wrongdoer afterwards towit on the second day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy Eight aforesaid with force and arms into the said tract of land with the appurtenances as aforesaid intered and the said John Infinger from  the same ejected and other wrongs and  ?   to him ? by his    ? great damage and against the peace of   the State of South Carolina  aforesaid werefore the said John Infinger said that he is ? and damage hath sustained to Five Thousand pounds lawfull money of the said State therefore he brings this suit and so forth
