 Personally appeared before one Chas Gallom of the District aforesaid that he did on the first day of January Last part did deliver John Langston a Tennent on ? land a true copy of the declarations in Evietment hereto annexed - together with the following notice.
This is a suit brought by Mr. Bartlett Browin to get you ? out of possession  of this land which he claims and means to make from on tryal is his property you the said John Langston must appear by your self or your attorney at the return day being the fifth day of January Int in Chas Town or Else judgement will pass ajs you by default in which case a writ will issue to the sheriff in turn you ought and this will be the case  asses if on the Tryal the verdict shall go against you.
