PART FIVE

Handwritten Genealogy with the J. J. Sams' Journal

Hello List,

Below is what I transcribed today from the handwritten chart that was included with my copy of J. J. Sams'
Journal from the Newberry Library. The copy I have was written, not like below, but in the form of a family tree
or genealogy table.  I've tried to follow it as it was written down.

Now, I don't have ANY idea who wrote it but I doubt that Jehoiada J. Sams did......the main reason being that I
believe he would have filled in his wife, Sarah's, DOB and the names of all 8 children, also I believe he would
have known his own Mother's name and I think (my opinion) that he was much to modest a man to write the word
"writer" under his name.  Like a lot of other good writers, I think he would have called himself a "story teller."

My comments when I wasn't sure of words I followed with my initials so you would all know that wasn't part of
the original.
