Looking for info on the Henry Robinson family. They came to Greene Co from Irdell co NC some time after 1860. They showed up in the 1860 in the 1860 NC cencus. I don't find Henry in any Ark cencus, but I found one of his sons Manuel in the 1880 Greene co cencus. Henry had a dau named Margret who was three years old in the 1860 NC cencus. My g grandfather married a Margret Adora Robinson in Greene co in 3 May 1874, according to family tradition. His name was William Americus Alexander. Henrys dau Margaret was the correct age and the name manuel was mentioned along with the name Molly, these are both names of Henrys children. I also found Clark Chapel cemetary records showing Henry and his wife Christina both buried there and Fairview Cemetary showinng some of Henrys children being buried there. I would like to find a record of their marriage (William and Margaret) if possible and any other records of the Robinson family that may exhist.

I am researching the lives and times and also the antecedents of STANFORD, HARRIS, LAMB, ANDERSON families who were pioneer residents of what is now Greene County Arkansas from 1827 to 1840. They received federal patents to lands in the Lorado area. I have a lot of Stanford data to share, but little relating to the other families.
George Stanford and his wife Jemima Farrar; John Stanford, whom I believe to have been a brother of George; and Jennet Stanford Lamb, a sister of George, whose husband was Isaac Lamb emigrated to northeastern Arkansas in 1827. Previously they had all lived in Marion County, Alabama (1819-27) and before that in Giles County, Tennessee (1809-1819). The Stanfords had earlier come to Tennessee from Chester County, South Carolina. In Arkansas, they left tracks in Lawrence Co. and, after it was organized in Greene Co. Thomas Stanford, my great grandfather, was the oldest son of George and Jemima Stanford. He married Lemerles Katherine Wilson Harris in Lawrence Co. in 1832. Her parents were Nicholas Harris and Jessie Hall who had had previously lived in North Carolina and Tennessee.
George Stanford died in 1840. I do not know where he was buried. The family were staunch Methodists, but I do not know what church they attended. By the time of the census of 1850, neither George StanfordAEs widow nor any of his children remained in Greene Co. Nicholas Harris and oJinseyoe Harris were still living there in 1850 as were several Lamb families.
Two children of George & Jemima Stanford married Anderson siblings. Their son George W. Stanford married Rhoda Anderson and their daughter Elizabeth Jane Stanford married Preston Neely Anderson. Ed Stanford, 108 Lynnmoor Drive, Silver Spring, MD 20901, Phone: 1-301-593-2387

Searching for information on my great-grandfather, James Henry WESTFALL, born circa 1859 in Kentucky. The last information I have on him is that he was in Paragould, Green Co., Arkansas at the time of his daughter's marriage (14-DEC-1903). James' first wife was Emmaline DOOLEY. Their children were: Eva Mae (1885-1963), Charley, and two daughters (names unknown). After James' first wife died (circa 1894), he remarried ... possibly to Irene ELLIOT. This is about the time that he moved to Arkansas. I find no trace of James after the marriage of his daughter (Eva Mae WESTFALL to James Nicholas ERVIN/IRVIN). Can anyone help?
