Also understand this town was also in Craighead County, so could be in either county. John Matthew Rose died in Scott County, Missouri on February 4, 1911. Census records indicated that his father was born in Virginia. Around 1833 the Reubin QUEEN family paused near McNairy co Tennessee on their way west from Carroll Co. Tennessee. They had left their home in
North Carolina between 1819 & 1827 and had stopped in Carroll Co. on
their way to Texas. Reubin & Mary's daughter Laura (4th of 8 children)
met and fell in love with Noah Garner the youngest of Margaret Garner's two sons. Noah and Laura were married and the Queen family continued on West to Texas. In 1840, the family is found in Carroll Co. Ark., in 1850 Williamson Co. Texas and in 1860 Reubin is alone on his $5125.00 farm in Lampassas Co. Texas. Reubin's wife was Mary BUTLER (b:ca1789 Montgomery co NC) who is the dau of Elias & Elizabeth Butler. Reubin & Mary named a son Elias Butler Queen (b: 1821 d:1906). In addition, Reubin had a brother William who married Elizabeth Butler of Montgomery Co NC. Brothers marrying sisters??? Ann Morrow household is John Dee Whit. The uncertainty lies in the
parentage of the 7 Morrow kids on that 1850 census. I have found that
Eliza Ann (b1810) is the daughter of William Morrow & Mary MARTIN.
Additonally, I 'think', Thomas JrJr (b1803;son of Thomas Jr & Elizabeth
KIETH) was married to Eliza Ann and is the father of the 7 Morrow kids.

at the age of nine months in 1910. The parents names were Thomas Luther
Wofford and Ida Member (Sullivan) Wofford.
Grover Louis Wofford was born July 2, 1909, and died Oct. 25, 1910 in Marmaduke, Greene County. We have a letter written by Ida to her aunt
in Missouri saying that Grover had died of diphtheria.
