    WHITE BENHAM
    I am seeking information on the WHITE/BENHAM families. My John W. White and his wife Sarah BENHAM WHITE(m 1872 in Gibson Co. TN). The family moved to Arkansas around 1880. I am told that they lived in Franklin County but that is un-documented. Children were: William Brinkley WHITE, Vannie Lee WHITE, Cleo Patra WHITE, S.H. WHITE, E.E. WHITE and Della Frances WHITE. I think other members of the BENHAM family also moved to Franklin. Vincent BENHAM and John BENHAM probably moved to the same general area. According to a family bible record, John W. WHITE died March 2, 1900. I don't know where he died, but Franklin County, or somewhere else in Arkansas. is a good possibility. Any assistance anyone can provide to help in my search for this family will certainly be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Audrey

    Researching ADAMS & ELLIS families in Franklin Co., AR. Rhoda BEll ELLIS was born Aug. 1865 MO. She died 9 Apr. 1917 in Little Rock, AR. She married on 2 Dec. 1881 in Roseville, Logan Co., AR. to Mathew ADAMS. He was born abt. 1860 MO. He died abt 1892. The widowed Rhoda ADAMS was on the 1900 Grover Twp. Franklin Co. Census with children: William A. ADAMS,17,AR; Christopher C. ADAMS,10,AR.; Bertha B. ADAMS, 6, AR. I Wonder if they had ADAMS and/or ELLIS relatives living in Franklin Co.?

    I am searching for my Grandfather's family. His name was Bentley WILLIAMS and his parents were Emma and J.L. Williams. The family lived in Clarksville and most of the family members are buried in Harmony Cemetary. I am looking for relatives still living in that area to share genealogical information with.     Joel M. KEY born 1813, GA married Nancy TERRELL 9 Aug. 1839 in Elbert County GA. Known children John W. Key b. 1841 GA and Terrell E. Key b 1851 Georgia. Joel with John and family found 1880 in Hogan Twp., Franklin County, AR. Terrell and wife Millie b. 1857 MS in Hogan Twp. also. Have more information on Terrell's family. Whao happened to John? What was Millie's maiden name? When did Joel die and where is he buried?

    John E. Gibson and family moved to Mulberry, Franklin Co. AR ca 1882. John Gibson b. 1839 AL d. Oct 1, 1888 and is buried at Kings Cemetary in Mulberry. John married Sophia Ann Worthington or (Weatherington) ca 1854. John and Sophia's children and extended family who moved to AR: Benjamin b. 1855 MS, Annie E. b. 1859 MS, Annie's husband ????WILSON and their daughter Cecilia Amanda and her husband John Franklin HAAS and their children. After John's death the family moved to Ft. Gibson, Indian Territory. Any information about this family would be greatly appreciated.

Sarah CAMERON b. 1868 on Jun 10, 1886 in Franklin Co. I don't know if they are related, so any information is appreciated.

    John W.D.L.F. (sp)Jones b. Missouri 1843; m. Rebecca DAVIS in Missouri abt 1861. Migrated to Franklin Co, AR. John and Rebecca had eleven children, four died young. John died before 1900 census, but Rebecca J. JONES was listed living in Franklin County with three children, Fannie E. Jones, Virgil N. Jones, (married widow, Cassey WILYARD), and John JONES (married Kizzie (LNU). I have a lot of information to share and would like to hear from descendants of this family.

    QUERY: Benjamine Shipley (1805-1881) lived in Franklin Co, AR (Mulberry twp) from about 1860. He was separated from wife Sarah Burkett who lived at Chester, Crawford Co, AR. Ben was a native of TN and served in the Civil War. In later years he became blind. He was buried at White Rock Cemetary.
    Other related Franklin Co surnames are CRABTREE / OLIVER / NEWTON. I will share the information I have on this family.
